About Us
Welcome to SAA Clothing, where our journey as a family inspires every design, and where we celebrate the beauty of being uniquely ourselves.
I became a dad at 27, ready for the adventures parenthood would bring. But soon after my first son, Jude, was born, I realised that my journey as a father would be very different from what I’d imagined. Jude received his autism diagnosis when he was 2, and 3 years later my youngest son Tommy would also be diagnosed as autistic. Over the past 16 years, through ups, downs, tears, and laughter, I’ve dedicated my life to being an advocate for the two of them
In 2015, I found myself needing an outlet to express how different my experiences were from those of my friends and family. That’s when I started the Stories About Autism blog. What began as a personal space to share our daily life quickly grew into something so much bigger. Today, our community has over a million people who connect with our journey—whether to feel less alone, learn more about autism, or support a loved one. It’s a community I’m so proud and grateful to be a part of.

Why We Started SAA Clothing
In December 2023, SAA Clothing was born from a simple yet powerful idea: to create something that spreads awareness and acceptance of autism while providing meaningful products for our community. I wanted to design items that suited sensory needs and carried positive messages of inclusivity and love.
Our first collection, Love Needs No Words, was inspired by Jude and Tommy and al of the people like them who are non-speaking or communicate in different ways. From soft, itch-free fabrics to practical, leak-proof water bottles, every product is crafted with care and purpose. Today, our collections have grown to include messages like Different Not Less and We All Think Differently, each resonating deeply with families and individuals around the world.
SAA Clothing is more than a brand; it’s a movement. Our clothes are walking messages, conversation starters, and symbols of advocacy. They’re here to remind you that you’re part of a community that understands, supports, and celebrates neurodiversity, and even though it may feel like it sometimes, you're not alone.
